Some people refer to disc jockey as DJ or spell it disk jockey.

1. Read the crowd and adjust the types of music played to please the people at your particular function. [Not just play the music that the DJ likes].
2. Adjust the volume to suit the type of function being done. Generally, if the music is too low, people won't get into the mood for dancing. If it is too loud, people can't talk to each other. We try to reach the appropriate compromise.
3. Supply good sounding and reliable equipment, with backup if needed.

PRICING GUIDLINES

We have DJs that have been working anywhere from 1 to 43 years. Generally, the longer a DJ has been in the business the better he or she is at reading the crowd and adapting the music to suit the people at each different party. Experience also usually results in a wider knowledge of types of music. Thus our basic four hour rate is based on the experience of the DJ that you wish to hire.

Extra hours can be booked or added if needed, with a lower rate for background music for a meal at the start of the function.

Distance charges are applicable if  the party is out of town. [We have been known to go as far as Montreal and Toronto].
